Vanderbilt University

Peabody College of Education and Human Development is one of ten colleges and schools that comprise Vanderbilt University. Peabody College provides graduate, undergraduate, and professional education. Peabody’s faculty are organized across five departments, and include researchers in education, psychology, public policy, human development, special education, educational leadership, and organizational development. 

University of California, Los Angeles

The Graduate School of Education and Information Studies (GSE&IS) is one of the professional graduate schools at the University of California, Los Angeles. Located in Los AngelesCalifornia, the school combines two distinguished departments whose research and doctoral training programs are committed to expanding the range of knowledge in educationinformation science, and associated disciplines. Established in 1881, the school is the oldest unit at UCLA, having been founded as a normal school prior to the establishment of the university.

Pennsylvania State University

The College of Education is one of 15 colleges at The Pennsylvania State University, located in University Park, PA. It houses the departments of Curriculum and Instruction, Education Policy Studies, Learning and Performance Systems, and Educational Psychology, Counseling, and Special Education. Almost 2,300 undergraduate students, and nearly 1,000 graduate students are enrolled in its 7 undergraduate and 16 graduate degree programs. The College of Education is home to many academic journals, research centers and institutes, student organizations, and other academic programs.

Tohoku University

The Faculty and Graduate School developed into an institution based on educational sciences, with focuses on philosophy, sociology, public administration, psychology, and medicine. Beginning in 1998, the department underwent a large scale reform, including the enlargement of previous academic units and a shift of emphasis to graduate programs, in order to accommodate to social demands such as scientific advancement and the interdisciplinization of academic subjects.

Chiba University 千葉大學

The Faculty of Education dates back to the year 1872, the year of the establishment of the modern educational system in Japan. Its main aim is to train its students to undertake leading positions in a wide range of educational institutions. The Faculty of Education seeks persons who take a wide-ranging interest in various educational problems concerning school and home, can engage in positive communication with others, and are willing to develop new possibilities in themselves as well as others, in a rapidly changing modern society. 

Kyushu University

The Graduate School of Human-Environment Studies was established in 1998 with the aim of developing interdisciplinary research that takes a cross-sectional approach to both the humanities and sciences.The Graduate School of Human-Environment Studies is comprised of various disciplines including the fields of psychology, sociology, cultural anthropology, education, health science, and architecture. Therefore, the vision of Human-Environment studies is multifaceted; while mastering the existing disciplines, they seek to develop the Human-Environment studies as a means of integrating the aforementioned disciplines.

Nagoya University

Graduate School was founded on the major fields of educational science and psychological and human developmental sciences. Both of these areas have masters and doctoral programs. Our School has trained many talented individuals, and some 60% of our former graduate students have become academic faculty at institutions of higher education.
An advanced level professional training program was established and initiated in 2000, including educational programs for researchers and university staff. This program consists of three areas: lifelong learning, human psychology, and counseling and psychotherapy.
