Full-Time Faculty Position

Full-time Position in Education, Assistant Professor or Above

Appointment Begin Date: August 1, 2023

Required Qualifications:

Hold a Ph.D. in Education from an accredited institution in Taiwan or overseas.
Possess the ability and experience to teach courses in English.
Experience in teaching, planning, or implementing transdisciplinary programs or courses.
Experience in academia-industry collaboration, such as hosting or implementing collaboration projects in the field Education.
Has hosted, co-hosted, or implemented related transdisciplinary or University Social Responsibility (USR) projects.
First-time teachers refer to those who have not held full-time teaching positions previously in any college or university within the past two years from the time being awarded a doctoral degree to the effective date of this announcement.
Applicants who have held full-time teaching positions previously must meet one of the following criteria:

- Have published two articles in the academic journals indexed in SCI, SSCI, TSSCI, EI, A&HCO, THCI (formerly THCI Core), or SCOPUS as the first or corresponding author in the past three years.
- Have received grants for at least two research projects from the National Science and Technology Council (NSTC) as the principal investigator.
- Have published any monograph in the past three years with relevant review comments and approval for publication.
- Exceptional performances in the industry (applicable to professional technicians) with proof of achievement provided.

Journal articles and NSTC research projects mentioned above may be compiled together regardless of different categories.

Preferred Qualifications:

Have experience and the ability to teach courses in English.
An expertise in elderly education, rural education, remedial teaching, service learning, educational guidance and related fields.
Have experience in teaching, planning, or implementing transdisciplinary programs or courses.
Have experience in academia-industry collaboration, such as hosting or implementing collaboration projects in the field Education.
Have hosted, co-hosted, or implemented related transdisciplinary or University Social Responsibility (USR) projects.

Course curricula and syllabi, statement of teaching experience, or research projects.
