Transdisciplinary Program in College of Education at National Taiwan Normal University, Taipei, Taiwan invites applications for the following full-time position in Education,
- Title and the Number of Opening: Full-time faculty, an assistant Professor or above.
- Areas of Specialization:
International Education Innovation and Transdisciplinary Studies
Multidisciplinary/transdisciplinary Education, Educational Innovation, Human Resource Development, and other education-related fields. - Education and Research Background:
- doctoral degree.
- With the exception of beginning teachers* with a Ph.D. degree, new full-time faculty members must satisfy at least one of the following qualifications:
(a) Being the first or corresponding author of publications of at least two articles within the past three years in journals listed in SCI, SSCI, TSSCI, EI, A&HCI, THCI (originally THCI Core before 2016) or academic journal articles in SCOPUS.
(b) Being the principal investigator of at least two research projects during the past three years (i.e., projects sponsored by the National Science and Technology Council or overseas equivalent national research funding agencies).
(c) Publication of at least one book or monograph within the past three years (reviewer comments and proof of publication should be provided).
Previous publications(a) and research projects(b) can offset each other. *“Beginning teachers” refers to those who have graduated within the last two years (starting from posting date of this vacancy announcement, excluding the time for military service due to conscription) and have not held any full-time teaching position at an institution of higher education since graduation. Those who meet the criteria set by relevant regulations of the university, may be considered for assistant professor (contract) positions.
C. Applicants must be proficient in Chinese or English and possess the professional ability to teach courses entirely in English.
D. Applicants whose highest academic degree was awarded by National Taiwan Normal University are required to have full-time teaching or research experiences in other institutions of higher education.

- Past and current approved research projects sponsored by the National Science and Technology Council (if applicable). H. Copy of doctoral diploma and a transcript. (If the degree was granted by a university outside of R.O.C., both documents should be verified by the R.O.C. embassies, consulate, representative office, or office, or other agency authorized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.)
- Doctoral Dissertation (Chinese translation of the abstract is required if the dissertation is written in languages other than English or Chinese).
