To enhance administrative staff members\u2019 practical English skills and help colleagues make effective use of artificial intelligence tools to improve work efficiency, the College of Education held the \u201cAdministrative Staff English Workshop\u201d from July 21 to 23, 2026, in Meeting Room 1 on the 3rd floor of the Education Building. The workshop was attended by administrative staff from the College of Education and its affiliated departments and institutes, with 21 participants and a total of 62 attendances. The three-day program was successfully completed.<\/span><\/p>

The workshop was led by Tzu-Chiao Lin, a Project Coordinator at the College of Education. The course focused on the latest features and practical applications of Large Language Models (LLMs). In addition to introducing the latest developments in generative artificial intelligence, the instructor demonstrated how AI tools can be integrated into daily administrative work through functions such as image text recognition and translation, multilingual content conversion, English email writing, and text editing and polishing. These applications can help colleagues process English-language materials more quickly and accurately.<\/span><\/p>

The workshop also introduced the concept and practical operation of AI Agents. Using routine administrative tasks and medium- to large-scale events organized by the College of Education as examples, the instructor demonstrated how AI can assist with workflow planning, event information organization, Chinese and English copywriting, preparation of implementation checklists, and compilation of event outcomes. Through hands-on exercises based on realistic work scenarios, participants gained a better understanding of how to provide clear instructions and adjust AI-generated content according to the requirements of different tasks.<\/span><\/p>

Through this workshop, the College of Education hopes to enhance administrative staff members\u2019 English communication and practical application skills while developing their ability to use generative AI in administrative work. These skills will enable colleagues to work more efficiently when handling English-language materials, international exchanges, and event preparations, thereby further improving overall administrative efficiency and service quality.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
