color: #000000;\"><strong>Appointment Begin Date: August 1, 2023<\/strong><\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Required Qualifications:<\/strong><\/span><\/p><ol><li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Hold a Ph.D. in Education from an accredited institution in Taiwan or overseas.<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Possess the ability and experience to teach courses in English.<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Experience in teaching, planning, or implementing transdisciplinary programs or courses.<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Experience in academia-industry collaboration, such as hosting or implementing collaboration projects in the field Education.<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Has hosted, co-hosted, or implemented related transdisciplinary or University Social Responsibility (USR) projects.<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">First-time teachers refer to those who have not held full-time teaching positions previously in any college or university within the past two years from the time being awarded a doctoral degree to the effective date of this announcement.<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Applicants who have held full-time teaching positions previously must meet one of the following criteria:<\/span><\/li><\/ol><ul><li style=\"list-style-type: none;\"><ul><li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Have published two articles in the academic journals indexed in SCI, SSCI, TSSCI, EI, A&amp;HCO, THCI (formerly THCI Core), or SCOPUS as the first or corresponding author in the past three years.<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Have received grants for at least two research projects from the National Science and Technology Council (NSTC) as the principal investigator.<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Have published any monograph in the past three years with relevant review comments and approval for publication.<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Exceptional performances in the industry (applicable to professional technicians) with proof of achievement provided.<\/span><\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul><p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Journal articles and NSTC research projects mentioned above may be compiled together regardless of different categories.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Preferred Qualifications:<\/strong><\/span><\/p><ol><li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Have experience and the ability to teach courses in English.<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">An expertise in elderly education, rural education, remedial teaching, service learning, educational guidance and related fields.<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Have experience in teaching, planning, or implementing transdisciplinary programs or courses.<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Have experience in academia-industry collaboration, such as hosting or implementing collaboration projects in the field Education.<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">\u00a0Have hosted, co-hosted, or implemented related transdisciplinary or University Social Responsibility (USR) projects.<\/span><\/li><\/ol><p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Application Materials and Deadline:<\/strong><\/span><\/p><ol><li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Cover letter.<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Curriculum vitae.<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">An official copy of terminal or highest degree diploma (Note: For overseas degrees, the doctoral degree diploma, academic transcripts, and proofs of related experiences should all be authenticated by the local R.O.C.
